"SCRUMBLING"

Freeform crochet... otherwise known as scrumbling, is creating beautiful one-of-a kind fun or art pieces without the use of traditional  patterns.  Why use patterns?  There are a million other people out there using that same pattern, might as well just buy it at the local mall.  With the endless freedom you have with scrumbling  the sky is the limit and no one on the whole planet will have what you just created!

Making random sized pieces (scrumbles) and putting them together like a jig-saw puzzle is like painting & sculpting with yarn, ribbons, leather strips, wire, raw wool, beads, shells, pet hairs, and just about any other found object you can come up with!  In fact my own personal wardrobe consists of scrumbles and or the the rockin' recycling art of re-vamping (cutting up old clothes or clothes you just don't wear anymore, and making them into something new & original).

One more very creative thing.... scrumbling is not just limited to crocheting.  I often combo scrumble with knitting, macrame, sewing, and even clay.  Beginners should probably start with a dress form to make sure the fit is right.  I have personally created thousands of enigma-wear that just kinda happened  on my lap while watching t.v. or just hanging out with my friends.  So if you are ready for the challenge.....sign up for one of my Scrumbling Parties... Email Rebel Th'redz (rebelthredz@gmail.com) for more information on parties! All ya need is your imagination and some fun materials!
